I’ve competed in many speech contests and received more trophies than I know what to do with. I’ve since retired from the stage, but haven’t stopped creating more tales.

BOOKS I’VE WRITTEN:
A Lie is a Lie, is a Lie Because You’re not Telling It Right, with all of my winning tall tales, tales I’ve yet to tell, and other amusing stuff.

The Labor Day Weekend Replacement Choir is a humorous memoir I’ve written about my brand new bride’s 2004 family reunion (her family had ten aunts and uncles, along with forty-something first cousins on her father’s side). The significance of my three days in this Oz-like setting on the thirteenth green in Pass Christian, Mississippi is that I hate family reunions and had strong reservations about attending. I now look back upon this magical experience with awed reverence, as the homes in this majestic setting were wantonly washed away one year later by the Wicked Witch of the East. Her name was Katrina and all I that is left are my wonderful memories.

Second Chance, my third book, is a sci-fi/crime/romance about a workaholic programmer named Chance Matherly, his exasperated wife, Marissa, a time machine called The Hourglass, and a disgruntled senior VP-turned-corporate embezzler. An unscheduled time travel screws up everyone’s lives, past and present, which was the only way to set everything right in both worlds.

The Time Bomb
(still in the works) is my fourth book, a sequel to Second Chance. The story continues with time-traveling detectives, using the Hourglass as an experiment to witness major crimes of the past seventy-two hours, for which the perpetrators are presently unknown. The tough part about viewing major offenses in the past is that the detectives can’t lift so much as a finger to interfere, which could be asking too much.

Cobra, my fifth book, is a humorous crime drama about a clown-hating-detective named Cloud McCracken, and his temporary partner, Marian Butterman, who is… of all things… a clown, as well as an undercover FBI agent. A lot of cars, a plane, and a city bus are going to get destroyed while Cloud and Marian (who is always in costume) infiltrate a ruthless gang of bank thieves disguised as… wait for it… clowns!

You’ll find a titillating story query for each book. All of my finished works will soon be available to purchase online.
