Teller of Tall Tales

An Artist by Design, a Writer by Hobby, and a Liar by Compulsion

I was born with a powerful, over-the-top, superhuman imagination on steroids. I dwell in the RIGHT SIDE of my brain– the creative dreamscape cosmos. I seldom cross the cluttered hallway to the LEFT SIDE– the orderly world of names, dates, and whatever I was just talking about, except to answer the door on the occasion that my wife calls me to dinner or my iPhone needs charging.

I feel like I’ve done it all, though I’m pretty sure I haven’t even come close. I’ve written four books, and have yet to publish any of them, which is pretty much what this blog is all about.

I’ve competed in quite a few speech contests, received more trophies than I know what to do with, and made more friends than are stars on a no-moon night. I’ve since retired from the stage, but I haven’t stopped writing.

Creating and updating this blog seems to have become my full-time job. I guess you could say it’s become my stage. I love an audience and I will do my best not to disappoint.

THE WAY I SEE IT Freeways Filled With Dipsticks In the utopian world that exists in my head, there’s a single-lane super-highway running from the end of my driveway to my office, eighteen miles away. With no speed limits or on-ramps, there’s not another car or pedestrian in sight because I’m the only one who…
